Day 01:  CHENNAI

Receive on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 02: IN CHENNAI

After breakfast proceed for Chennai city tour. Visit St. George Fort founded in 1644 . The construction of the fort provided the impetus for further settlements and trading activity, later visit Kapaleeshwar temple dedicated to God Shiva.The temple is 7th century old and built by Dravidan architecture. Evening visit heritage village Dakshina Chitra and spend memorial time near Marina Beach. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 03 : CHENNAI – MAHABALIPURAM (70KMS/1.5HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Mahabalipuram the World heritage rock cut and shores temple. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon visit Shore Temple built in 700-728AD. These temple came into World Heritage site in 1984 built by Narasimhavaram II of Pallav Dynasty. Return back for hotel overnight stay. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 04 : MAHABALIPURAM – TANJORE (270KMS/7HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Tanjore 11th-century Brihadeswar Temple, a vast Chola dynasty–era complex with a frescoed interior. Arrive and check in to hotel. Afternoon visit UNESCO world Heritage Monuments Brihadisvara Temple built by Raja Raj Chola I between 1003-1010 AD. Its massive tower,inscriptions, frescoes and sculptures predominantly related to  Shaivism but also of Vaishnvaism and Shaktism traditions of Hinduism. Return back for hotel overnight . Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 05: TANJORE –  TRICHY – MADURAI (170KMS/3HRS)

After breakfast proceed to Madurai via sightseeing of Trichy. Visit Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple dedicated to Ranganatha a form of Vishnu deity.After sightseeing proceed for Madurai. Arrive and check in to hotel.Later visit Meenakshi Temple dedicated to Meenakshi a form of Parvati built around 6th Century CE.

Overnight at hotel.

 

 

Day 06: IN MADURAI – RAMESHWARAM-  MADURAI (160KMS/3HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Rameshwaram. Arrive and visit Ramanthaswamy Temple, India Oldest Sea Bridze Panbam . Return back for Madurai.Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 07: MADURAI – PERIYAR (160KMS/3HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Periyar. Arrive Periyar and check in to house boat.  Visit Periyar National Park  and wild life sanctuary. Overnight at house boat.

 

Day 08: PERIYAR –KUMARAKOM (170kms/3hrs)

After Breakfast proceed for Kumarkom a back water of Kerala.  Arrive and check in to Resorts. Later visit Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and faunaKumarakom Bird Sanctuary is a noted bird sanctuary where many species of migratory birds . Overnight at resorts.

 

Day 09 : KUMARKAOM – COCHIN( 160KMS/3hrs)

After breakfast proceed for Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check n to hotel. Visit Visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue (closed on Saturdays), Church of SI. Francis and the famous Chinese fishing nets.Evening Kathakali dance perionnance. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 10 : COCHIN – OOTY (280KMS/7HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Ooty home of Nillgiri mountain surrounded by Tea Garden. Arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 11: IN OOTY

After breakfast  visit sightseeing tour of major tourist places in Ooty including Ooty Lake, Wax World Museum, Take some time to admire the surrounding green valleys and beautiful mountains with vast tea estates – for which Ooty is famous for. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 12: OOTY – MYSORE (155KMS/3HRS)

After breakfast proceed for Mysore . Arrive Mysore and check in to hotel. Day free  for leisure . Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 13 : IN MYSORE

After breakfast visit Lalith Mahal Palace, Mysore Palace, one of the largest palaces in the country. Jaganmohana Palace, Art Gallery etc. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 14 : MYSORE – BANGALORE (160KMS/3HRS)

After breakfast drive for Bangalore. Arrive and check in to hotel. Evening free for shopping. Overnight at hotel.

 

Day 15 : IN BANGALORE

After breakfast sightseeing of Bangalore .Visit  Tipu Sultan Palace  example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu SultanHyder Ali commenced its construction within the walls of the Bangalore Fort, and it was completed during the reign of Tipu Sultan in 1791. Lalbagh Botanical Garden Hyder Ali commissioned the building of this garden in 1760 but his son, Tipu Sultan, completed it. Hyder Ali decided to create this garden on the lines of the Mughal Gardens that were gaining popularity during his time, Vishveshwarya Technological Museum, Vidhana Soudha (out side view),  MG Road , Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain Park etc. After sightseeing return back for hotel. Overnight at Bangalore Hotel.

 

Day 16 : BANGALORE – DEPARTURE

After breakfast transfer to airport  to connect flight for onward destination.
